Lakeview Presbyterian Church seeks an individual to provide for the music ministry of our faith community. The ideal candidate will be someone with musical talent, a passion for the Gospel, and who seeks to bring those two qualities to this position.

We are searching for an individual who can play both the organ and the piano and accompany our choir. We are also looking for somebody who is able to play music in both the African American and Presbyterian traditions, is willing to learn one of these different types of music or will work with others to make sure that happens. We are a diverse group of Christians, and we seek diversity in our music and worship.

Individuals must be prompt, courteous and hard working. Good interpersonal skills are very important, and candidates should be able to work well with a wide range of people. Showing forth the love of God is absolutely essential.

There is currently one worship service starting at 10:30am and ending around 11:45am each Sunday morning. Rehearsals currently take place the morning of worship from 9:15am to 10:15am, and at other scheduled times. Worship preparation times are open for discussion with the choir.

We are open to a range of possible positions including Music Director, Church Musician or some combination thereof. The current salary is $224 per Sunday of service.
